Real Issue Tracker

Have an issue that seems to have cropped up as we've gotten near 8000 tickets in the system. The system will slow to a crawl and running reports, adding follow-ups or viewing issues will take forever to load and often will just error out all together. What we notice is that if the notify checkbox is unchecked when adding an issue follow-up, the page will refresh very fast. When it does error out, for instance, I ran a report and after about 5 minutes of the page attempting to load this morning, I got the following:
